Class 188 GCB NO ENTRIES

MPD (2,1a) 1 Hunt’s Earthseas Wolf’s Bane, 6 months of good make & shape. Pleasing head, dark well shaped eyes & ears frame his head so well. Good neck, ample spring of rib, level back & what top coat he has is harsh to the touch. OK in side action, hocks needs to strengthen going away. PD (1) 1 BP, Grant’s Granhoward Edward, what a nicely shaped & balanced youngster this is. Good layback, excellent ribcage & loin & decent pelvis & croup. He is well boned with very good feet & was quite fleet of foot circling the ring. Doesn’t want to get much heavier. JD (1) 1 Cassidy’s Rosenez Little Rambler, nice size & weight. Plus points are his reach if neck & head carriage, level back fairly short loin & well muscled & angulated hindquarters. Pleasing head, I did like his eyes for shape, colour & expression. Needs to firm up on hock. PGD (3,2) 1 Howell’s Fallowmill Sydney, he needs to lose a little weight, good spring & depth of rib, very good head length & strength, ears could be held closer to his cheeks, strong muzzle & covers the ground well in profile. LD (1) 1 CC & BOB, Jones’ Bomini Starstruck, what a charmer. Lovely make & shape with a delightful head, excellent muzzle & beautiful eyes framed by well set ears. Decent neck, excellent sternum, slight arch to his neck, good shoulders, firm level back over well sprung ribs, ample breadth in croup & such a good tail. In really good jacket, he out-moved the opposition & his profile balance & drive earned him the top spot. I believe this win makes him up. Well done. OD (3) 1 RCC, Thorn Andrews’ Ch Drakeslseat Hostile Takeova, nice for size & weight. Well balanced head with very dark well shaped & expressive eyes. Enough neck, well sprung ribs, lovely fore assembly & sufficient bend of stifle. A bit between coats compared to the BOB winner. Moved out well; 2 Grant’s Barratini Ted Astaire at Granhoward, nice for size & takes the eye with that reach of neck & head carriage. Pleasing head & muzzle, not the lovely eye of the winner & while he is well ribbed & angulated aft, his front was not so true & steady in action when fore viewed.

VB (1) 1 BV, Walker’s Deepdax In The Red at Roselle, 7 years old & still full of enthusiasm & attitude. Lovely size & well ribbed body, pleasing head, eye now a shade full but has such a knowing expression. Well muscled & still covered the ground with a smooth stride. MPB & PB (0). JB (4,1) 1 Billinghurst’s Drakesleat Mrs Shilling at Jiljac, won here on the quality of her head, eyes & expression. Such a well weighted foreface, beautiful ears & she appeals in length of neck & head carriage. She is well ribbed, good sternum definition, level backline, well muscled upper thighs & was shown in good coat. Held her shape circling the ring & showed good hock use; 2 Meredith’s Deepdax Let’s Dance, nice size, well boned, very good reach in neck, so clean throated & decent upper arm. Her head is so feminine yet she has such a good strength in foreface, very dark eyes & well set ears. In good coat, her profile action was balanced but her pasterns need to tighten a but both on the move & in stance; 3 Powell’s Rosenez Special Occasion at Forbell. PGB (10,2) 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Liberty Belle, I really liked this bitch as she has shape, terrific outline, beautiful headpiece & was presented with such a harsh top coat. She is well ribbed & they carry back to a short, well muscled loin. Moved out well here but in the challenge with a different handler she did not react nor move with the same attitude. Should finish well; 2 Marston Teal’s Lordscairne Life Of Love, another in lovely coat condition & so well presented. No doubting her sex from this head & expression, good neck, well defined sternum & level back. She is well ribbed, has that hint of rise over the loin & good tail carriage. Not quite the very positive front of the winner when fore viewed; 3 Miller’s Palsuz Easter Bon-Net. LB (3,1) 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Compania Faberge, another of the quality we expect from this world famous affix. Type, shape, lovely headpiece, well ribbed & bodied & shown in good coat. Will surely become a worthy champion; 2 Selley’s Ubu Isabelle Bird for Heleanne, quite a different type, shorter all through lacking length of rib, pleasing head with good eyes & ears. Just about enough neck, in good coat but steps short in profile which was made more obvious by the ground covering action of Faberge. OB (4) 1 CC, Thorn Andrew’s Drakesleat Stitch In Time, lovely headed bitch & good size, totally feminine in outlook, excels in neck, layback, sternum & outline. Back level, that fraction rise over the loin to decent breadth in rump & a good tail set. Moved out well with good drive from the hocks. Not in such good coat as the BOB but surely title bound; 2 RCC, Jones’ Bimini From Russia With Love, I see shares the same dam as the BOB winner & very much in his mould. She scores in sheer type, size, shape & sound action. Again shown in super coat & she steps out with a deal of purpose & drive I liked her head shape with excellent foreface & eyes & on the stack her shape just flows; 3 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Walkin On Sunshine.
