The standard has improved since I last judged, but there is still a problem with the shoulder girdle being to far to forward and the shortness of the upper arm! Having said that the general appearance is good, and I was pleased with my winners.
VETERAN DOG/BITCH ( 3 ) 1. Prices , Samlane Pink Gin 7+ years feminine head , good coat Good overall confirmation Moved with drive seem to be enjoying her day. 2. Orams, Janjac Moschino at Rosswell 8+ years Taller than 1 good length of body Not giving her best in movement today. 3.Millers Palsuz Dream Time
MINOR PUPPY DOG ( 2 )1 Stewards, Bassodon Doice, Nice type, well off for size, good textured coat, nice head on a strong neck. Well positioned shoulders, good keel, strode out well. 2 Shones Hanishan Shennigans, Smaller type than 1 good bone, Good coat, loses top line on movement, time will firm this up. Good confirmation.
PUPPY DOG ( 2 ) 1 Boyns Brindeckel Diamond Geezer Very compact, nice size, pleasing head, very houndy. Good strong coat, good spring of ribbing, well placed shoulders Liked the flowing movement. Best Puppy dog. 2. Phillips Shine a Light Diervilla of Robinswood(imp pol) Taller type than 1 Good strong head , good spring of ribbing, moved with drive, but not as refined as 1.
JUNIOR DOG ( 4 ) 1 Thorn –Andrews Drakesleat Win Tin Tin. Good coated brindle, nice type strong head well off for bone Excellent keel, good depth. Flowing movement from a nice gait. Well deserved RES CC. 2 Russells Benzden Izzy Myake Russteck Taller type than 1, good coat, well placed shoulders, moved with drive. Short in upper arm.3. Gosney’s Stargang Hugo’s Quest.
YEARLING DOG (3. 2.) 1 Neates Beaucat Chedda George good coated brindle, nice head, well developed keel. Very naughty on the table and wouldn’t be assessed, I did have doubts whether to place this dog.
POST GRADUATE DOG (2 ) 1 Adams Angelholms Figaro Taller type , nice size, good reach of neck, ample keel, and a good spring of ribbing. Level top line kept on the move. Movement was at a steady pace. 2. Neates, Beaucat Exfactor Smaller type than 1 Strong head, good length, Soft coated, and quite close to ground, moved well, however it did tend to skip now and again in movement.
LIMIT DOG ( 4 ) 1 Kugow & Holts Waldmeister Samuel JW. Smaller type but taller in height, Pleasing head, (very strong ) great coat, sufficient keel moved with drive and kept his outline at all times. 2 Blackburns, Stargang Crusoe. Nice coated B/T . good size, all the right propotions, good strong head, deep keel. My type of dachshund, However on the day his front movement let him down. What a shame!!! 3. Good top line and underline, In excellent condition shoulder placement was correct, drive was purposeful and positive. Pleased to award him CC. 2 Dances CH Deepdax Overdraft Too Far Emem, Smaller and different type to 1. keel not as deep as winner, overall a nicely constructed dog, movement was driven. 3 Horswells Drakesleat Noddy Doff

Adequate keel, strong rear quarters giving plenty of drive. 2- Rathbones Fraulein Giselle at Brialind. Shorter type than 1 well off for bone, feminine head . good length of ribbing , nice keel, shorter in loin to 1. Moved well. 3. Russells Tu Tu Tango at Russteck

Strong neck, well placed shoulders, level top line, deep keel, strong rear quarters giving effortless correct movement. Pleased to award her RES CC. 2-- Marston –Teal Lordscairnie look of love, liked the look of this bitch, nice flowing lines, nothing rugged about her. Good deep keel, nice head, solid movement just preferred the quarters on 1. 3--Hunts Earthseas Dark Sorcery.

POST GRADUATE BITCH ( 5 ) 1 Kugow & Holts Waldmeister Hattie Super pin wire coat, well developed feminine head, lovely deep keel. Well off for bone, super shoulder placement, strong quarters driving smooth actioned movement. 2 Rigbys Waldmeister Maud for Rigadac Good brindle coat. nice size, feminine head, strong neck , level top line held on the move , satisfactory movement 3--Adams Angelholm Aida
LIMIT BITCH (8.3 ) 1 Dances Emem Candy Sunshine Nice type and size, in good coat very nice confirmation everything in the right place adequate keel good level top line, strong quarters giving excellent movement. 2--Barneys Verram Domestic Goddess. Very similar in type to 1. Level top line. Good shoulder placement, moved well however she missed behaved in the line up and kept squatting down and didn’t help her handler at all. 3--Kemps Vossmead Lola Rose
