DACHSHUND - MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
1 Kugow & Holts Waldmeister Johnson. He is
a very pleasant red brindle dog shown in hard condition with a excellent coat
covering a well muscled frame. He has a very pleasing head and eye with a nicely
curving neck down to a well built shoulder and prominent fore chest. He moved
correctly with drive and maintained a level topline. General outline was of a
good strong working dog. 2 Phillips Curtisey Boogy Woogy. This dog is a black &
Tan brindle with a lovely strong head with very good ear length. He stood and
moved quite well but did not have the firm topline of 1 which spoilt his general
outline otherwise he showed himself quite nicely. 3 Pucketts Foxearth Free as a
Bird.
PGD (5,1) 1 Kugow & Holts Waldmeister Samuel. This is another well
presented dog in excellent condition from this kennel. He has a lovely strong
head with correct teeth, correctly placed shoulder construction & correct hind
angulation which of course meant he moved beautifully. Generally he has a superb
tight coat and shows himself to perfection. 2 Jones Shantallah Black Diamond
Among Carlita. A lovely dog with a good strong head & a correct general outline.
He has correct angulation front and rear. Moved with drive and created a good
impression around the ring. His coat is not as tight as 1 but still a very
pleasing exhibit. 3 Pucketts Foxearth Free as a Bird.
LD (1)1 Howells Fallowmill Back and Fetch. My first impression was his
very strong head with correct furnishing. His shoulders and front angulation are
correct but hind quarters are a little loose. When moving he kept a correct
topline. Unfortunately, in this class he stood alone but he still deserved his
position.
OD (6,2) 1 Thorn Andrews Drakesleat Otton the Scent. He is an extremely
impressive specimen. His very strong head, with correct dentition, carried high
over his correctly constructed front angulation giving him ground clearance and
his prominent sternum showing his dimples, pleases the eye. A firm topline leads
back to his rear angulation, also correctly constructed. His underline shows no
sign of cut up behind his ample ribs and his movement flowed effortlessly. All
this added up to an excellent general appearance winning him DCC & BOB. 2 Shaws
Cilnant Happy Harry of Mustdach. This dog is a handsome brindle with an
excellent head and dentition, correct constructed fore and hind quarters but a
fraction lighter in bone than 1. He moved with drive from the rear keeping his
correct topline and presenting a pleasing outline when standing. He well
deserved the RDCC. 3 Dances Deepdax Overdraft too far Emem.
PB (4,2) 1 Jones Carlita Bewitched. She is a very attractive 9mth old
with a feminine head and expression. Correctly constructed front and rear but
would have preferred a little more length in body to balance the Height/Length
ratio. She was a little apprehensive on the table but I had no problem examining
her and she made up for this when she was on the move with her strong straight
drive. She stood solidly on the floor showing a very strong outline. A promising
puppy. BPIB. 2 Avard & Petrys Rieyonne Lil Missy. A black and tan 10 mth old she
is a big girl for her age. She has a reasonable head and coat but her front and
rear quarters need to tighten to give her smooth straight drive on the move.
JB (8,1) 1 Poxons Kapodach Cup Cake. She is a lovely compact little
bitch of correct proportions. She has a pretty feminine head and superb topline,
which she maintained when moving, with gently rounded croup. The general outline
was of a pleasing, well constructed bitch. RBCC. 2 Thorn Andrews Drakesleat Ott
Favourite. This is a pleasant feminine bitch. Her correct shoulders and hind
angulation enable her to move beautifully with drive. Her topline flows into
nicely rounded croup which in turn flows into the perfect tail set. 3
Marston-Teals Lordscainie Love Life.
PGB (4,1) 1 Holgates Nadavin Struana. This bitch has correctly
construct shoulders and forechest, a lovely level topline and super rear
angulation giving her a perfect driving action. All this enabled her to win this
class based on her excellent movement. 2 Orams Janjac Moschino at Rosswell. Many
of the comments given for 1 could also apply to this bitch. She has a a strong
head, correct shoulders and correct rear angulation when viewed in profile. On
the move I preferred the hind action of 1. 3 Rees Ridgegrove Saphire Doll at
Ermwood.
LB (6,2)1 Blackburns Stargang Moll Flanders. She is a pleasant light
brindle with an attractive feminine head and neck flowing into correctly
constructed front quarters good length of ribbing. She has a super topline,
nicely rounded croup and correct hind angulation. She is a lovely mover which
won her this strong class. 2 Marston-Teals Lordscairnie Love Diamonds. This
bitch, a darker brindle, stood like a rock showing her correct construction
beautifully. She was handled sympathetically and moved with drive keeping her
excellent outline. 3 Poxons Kapodach Izzi Miyaki.
OB (6,1) 1 Thorn Andrews Rupee Wax. This is a very impressive brindle
bitch. Correct head and dentition, with correct shoulder and forechest
construction. A level topline leading into rounded croup flowing into correct
tail set. The rear angulation is built so that she moves drive maintaining that
topline. She has a tight double coat with sufficient furnishing on her head
without being excessive. She co-operated with her handler at all times. I was
pleased to award her BCC. 2 Roberts Win`er Take All to Swansford. She is quite a
pleasant little bitch, slightly smaller than 1. She has a feminine head,
correctly constructed shoulders and forechest, carries a level topline and has
correct rear angulation. Generally I preferred the sparkle in the ring of 1. 3
