MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED

MPD (3,1) 1 Fulton's Bothlyn Brigadoom, lovely brindle boy. Gorgeous set up, still a little raw on the move but a promising youngster. Lovely head, eye & expression, good length of neck, the best of front construction with a prominent forechest which is lacking in the breed. Well sprung rib, hammy rounded quarters which he used on the move. Love to see this boy in 6 months. 2 Jones' Bimini King Of SwIng, a little reluctant in temperament. Good head & length of neck, nice hindquarters, kept a good topline on the move. PD (4/1) 1 Kugow & Holt's Waldmeister Johnson, another promising puppy. Super head, eye & expression, excellent bone and substance. Fab padded feet which is also lacking in the breed. Well sprung rib, excellent hindquarters which he used with power around the ring and super sound. Superb coat, harsh right down to the feet and in really hard condition proving he could do a days work. RCC & BPD, only beaten by his lovely half-sister for BPIB. 2 Fulton's Bothlyn Brigadoom. Jd (1) 1 Young's Portalutra Mr Thomas Of Tarkus, pretty red boy. Lovely head & eye, lengthy neck, fantastic forechest, good tight shoulders although would have liked a little more length of upper arm. Good spring of rib, kept his topline and outline on the move. Well presented & handled. YD (5) 1 Kugow & Holt's Waldmeister Samuel, more of the working teckel type and not usually my preferred type but this dog has a lot to like about him. The best of head & eye, with large strong teeth, lovely length of neck, super padded feet, with harsh coat to the tip of his toes. Good ribbing, strong muscular quarters which he used on the move showing his pads. Again super sound and in hard condition. Excellent presentation. 2 Russteck Dandelion, this dog is more my type but I found him a little feminine and not as tight in the shoulder as 1. Nice head & length of neck, better forechest than 1, adequate ribbing, nicely angulated quarters and moved well. 3 Corner's Holryk Mister Mischeif. Pgd (2) 1 Baxter's Kapodach Love Me Tender At Hotwire, ok head, very soft in coat, kept an excellent topline on the move. 2 Young's Tarkus Harvest Gold, better constructed than 1 but did not want to show for his handler. Excellent red harsh jacket on this boy. LD (2) 1 Howells' Fallowmill Back And Fetch JW. Just loved this dark brindle boy. Fabulous head, eye & expression, the best of forechests, super shoulders, with excellent drop down in front which is lacking in many and which won him Best of Breed. Lovely lengthy neck, super length & spring of rib, conforms to the new breed standard of not being too low or long but retains all the correct features of a well made dachshund. Excellent hindquarters which he uses with precision. An excellent example of handling and presentation from his owner, in excellent condition and the day was his. CC & BOB. 2 Moore's Danvichar Euphrsia, well presented little dog, nice tight shoulders, good spring of rib, well angulated quarters. OD (2) 1 Mcleod & Hassall's Ch Sidelock Formular One, I gave the reserve CC to this dog last time I judged and have loved him since then, but today he really gave his owner a hard time and just wouldn't give. He had to win this class on what I could see of his super shape when he briefly stood and his lovely free movement and outline on the move which won him the class. 2 Black's Bassodon Bilbie, very different type to 1, and not my type but has a good head, though would like a softer expression, good length of neck, well ribbed and excellent hindquarters. Holds a good firm topline on the move. Well presented and handled. MPB (5) 1 Daykin's Ashridge Dun Danzin, dark brindle puppy with pretty head, tight shoulders and a good dropdown fore and aft. Good spring of rib, hammy quarters and nice short hocks. Nice outline on the move holding a good topline. Just needs more confidence. 2 Corner's Sandanca Danielle Taf, this one really took my eye on the move but unfortunately would not cooperate with handler at all, particularly when standing. Sweet head but the coat presentation here in particular needed some work. Good front construction, excellent ribbing and a super mover. 3 Stancliffe's Tarkus Something Special At Standach. PB (9/2) 2 Mcleod & Hassall's Janjac Mac Zeen, loved this bitch, very much the type I like. Very pretty, feminine head with lovely eye and expression. Cracking bone and substance with well padded feet, lovely tight shoulders, and enough front. Good spring & length of rib, nice short loin, super hindquarters which she used to drive out. Kept a lovely outline on the move. Must have a real promising future.BP. 2 Kapodach Cup Cake, different type to 1st. Nice head & lengthy neck, good ribbing, kept a good topline standing and moving. Good hindquarters and moved well. Very promising. 3 Lewis' Trixhund Katinka. JB(6/2)1 Lewis' Trixhund Country Lover, lovely B/T bitch. You have to put your hands on this girl to really appreciate her true quality in construction. Fabulous front contruction, with lovely forechest, correct shoulders and a lovely dropdown. Super sring of rib, well angulated quarters which she used to power around the ring. Excellent outline and movement. RCC. 2 Black's Bassodon Burlesque, brindle bitch, nice head, lengthy neck, excellent outline on the move, good hindquarters. 3 Stancliffe's Standach Reasons Unknown. Yb (2) 1 Lewis' Trixhund Country Wife, litter sister to the winner of JB and again had fabulous construction. Good length of neck, the best of fronts, lovely tight feet and harsh coat. Well angulated quarters, sound fore & aft and excellent topline. 2 Jones' Bimini Starlight Express, sweet bitch, lovely outline on the move and super sound but just not the drive of 1. PGB (9/4) 1 Dunn's Barratini Bumble At Ashridge, sweet dark brindle girl, mother to the minor puppy winner and very like her. Pretty head, good tight shoulders, excellent ribbing, super rounded quarters with lovely short hocks. Moved well keeping her topline. Would like a bit more confidence. 2 Archer's Roamanbay Baby Belle, really liked this bitch but owner needs to put more effort into training her to keep her head up on the move. Pretty head & eye, super harsh coat, lovely shoulders, excellent ribbing and good bend of stifle. Had a lovely outline on the move when she got her head up. 3 Kay's Kaytian Lady Guinevere. Lb (6/2) 1 Meredith's Deepdax Credit Crunch, lovely bitch who took my eye when moving around straight away. Pretty head & expression, lengthy neck, good tight shoulders, well ribbed with short loin and well angulated quarters. Stood and moved true fore and aft keeping a perfect topline at all times. Well deserved the CC, hope she gets her 3rd soon. 2 Russell & Maxwell's Russteck Perchance To Dream. I have always liked this bitch but today was not as firm in topline as I have seen her look previously but you cannot deny her fabulous construction. Lovely head & eye, expression, length of neck, super front construction, well sprung rib, fabulous backend and a coat to die for. 3 Jones' Bimini Rhapsody In Blue Ob (5) 1 Black's Ch Bassodon Dita Von Teese, pretty bitch, scored on length of neck, lovely shoulders, nice ribbing and good hindquarters. Good outline stacked and moving. 2 Mcleod's Sidelock Do I Look Bovvered, pretty bitch but another not co-operating with handler. Nice head and neck running into well placed shoulders. Excellent ribbing and lovely hindquarters. She would be such a nice bitch if she would just give a little. 3 Rowell's Kanix Linda At Emmajesk J.W.Sh.CM.
