MINIATURE WIREHAIRED:

MPD (7) 1 Black’s Bassodon Bilbie. Promising babies. Winner’s coat needs to harden up, but his body, head and angulation all very promising indeed. A smart baby. 2  Puckett’s Molloney Willy Wayme. Harder coat, but not quite the front of the winner and short upperarm. Pleasing head, neck and topline and he moved well going away. 3 Barney’s Verrami Juan Moment Romaunt.

PD (6) 1 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Once for Love. Nice to go over, and a very typical head and expression and nice high set on of ears. Cuts up too sharply in ribbing under chest. OK in rear and carries himself well. In lovely hard coat and well muscled. 2  Walker’s Starhill Faust at Roselle. A bit too thin and his topline is running up at present and needs to settle. Also a harsh, thick double coat and good legs and feet. Too short in ribbing. Moved well in rear.

JD
(7) 1  Punter’s Welcumen Oscar. Super coat and he keeps a correct topline in profile. All three of these had their tails in the air, which does not help the overall look. Sound rear, Very close in front and needs more bone. 2  Macdonough’s Varrish Ben Lui. Temperament needs to be a little more steady, but he was happy enough moving. Fair front, ok in rear and pleasing length to his head. 3 Hunt’s Tysar Secret Agent at Earthsea.

PGD (1) 1  Hopgood’s Dunnspitts Artful Dodger. Too thin and some better trimming would improve his look. He does have a good, long stride, pleasing angulation and a typy head.

LD (7) 1 and Res CC, Hayward’s Foxearth News Flash.  A better class, thank goodness! Winner nice for type and style, and with pleasing angulation. Hard coat, good legs and feet and a reachy neck. I would like a wider underjaw, but overall a good head. Moved well. 2 Poxon’s Kapodach Acer Trier. Better in head as his is really beautiful. OK in front and rear movement. Level back. Immaculate presentation, well carried tail. Looked a bit too cut up in underline. 3 Moore’s Danvichar Bergamot Sh CM.

OD
(8) 1 and CC,  Barney and Sexton’s Molloney And Verrami. A smashing class to judge. Winner scores heavily on width of underjaw, excellent eye placement and high set ears. Sound front and rear movement, a wonderful body and a true working Dachshund coat. Moved out beautifully. 2  Allan and Dick’s Ir Ch Auchans Roger the Dojjer. Standing looks a picture and he too was presented to perfection. A smart boy with a lovely body and topline. Would like more width to underjaw and steadier rear movement, but he is a worthy Champion and I hope he gains his British title to go with his Irish. 3 Price’s Samlane Manilow.

MPB
(12) 1 Johnston-White and Sexton’s Malloney Connie Feshons mit Gioia. Nearly all at the in-between stage. Winner held her outline best of all, pleasing head, good front and nice body coming. Level back and correct driving rear movement. Fair coat for a baby too. 2 Black’s Bassodon Dita Von Teese. Maybe more mature in body than the winner but she was pulling badly on the lead and going down at the front. When she sorts herself out she should do well. 3 Kelly’s Starhill Bitter Sweet for Kmai.

PB (15) 1 and Best Puppy,  Fulton’s Bothlyn Black Rose. The best layback of shoulder and prominent withers of the entry so far. A beautiful head, eyes and expression. Perfect front, oval chest and good legs and feet. Well bodied and nicely angulated rear. She was out of coat on the day unfortunately - and no-one knows like myself how difficult a b/t wire coat can be; but the bits she had over the rump were hard. 2 Kugow and Holt’s Waldmeister Guillemot.  Better coat, but a bit weak in head and I would like more bone. She has improved since I last judged her in July, and I hope she carries on maturing nicely. Sound, free and active mover and holds herself well. 3 Presnail’s Taree Jiggalong.

JB (11) 1 Price’s Samlane Rosaleen. Unfortunately not showing, but boy she is nice to go over and so sound. In lovely coat, super head and neck, neat and well put together. 2  Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Love Diamonds. A lovely bitch but not in hard condition and needs muscle and her leg hair could be harder. Otherwise I liked her a lot. 3 Hooper’s Starhill All About Eve.

PGB
(13) 1 Fulton’s Bothlyn Black Rose. 2 Shone’s Foxearth Frimbriate at Hanishan.  Immature looking but lovely to go over. Lengthy head, good true front and a level backline. Neat behind, leg hair could be a touch harder. Kept her outline beautifully. 3 Wood’s Wildstar Wrelish.

LB (12) 1 CC and BOB,  Kugow and Holt’s Waldmeister Mischka JW.  A really smashing class. Winner so good to go over. A typy, conical head, tight lips and neat, small and high set ears. Excellent front, perfect body and powerful, impressive quarters. She can lift her tail now and then too high, but her other attributes outweighed this. 2 Meredith’s Emem Airy Fairy at Deepdax. So well muscled also. A pleasure to go over her. Long head, powerful jaws and good bone and feet. Level back, enough bend of stifle. A harsh, weatherproof coat. Just a wee bit too long in back. 3 Poxon’s Kapodach Sakura Blush.

OB (6) 1 and Res CC,   Price’s Samlane Norma Jean. Another good class. First nice to go over and a impressive mover who covers the ground very easily indeed. Excellent topline and rear, super hard coat. Could be a bit more outgoing, but it was very noisy in the hall on the day. 2  Hutchings’ Ch Molloney Zena Ghost JW Sh CM. A bit lower than I personally like, but she certainly has a lot going for her; looks stunning standing, tends to drop her front in profile movement. In excellent coat and driving behind beautifully. 3 Hayward’s Foxearth Foto Copy.
