My apologies to the exhibitors for a scanty report on your dogs. My judging book that included all my notes disappeared between Scotland and Dorset. The report is done from memory.

PD. (6). 1. Wood’s, Wildstar Wedgewood. Lovely head, expressive dark eyes. Good reach of neck. Tight elbows, ribbing carried well back. Good hind anglation. Good side gait carrying his topline well. Tendency to move close in front but with excellent drive. 2. Blackburn’s, Stargang Xcaliber. Quality baby, typical head in good coat. Low to ground. Well bent stifles. Slightly looser in elbows than first. Moved well behind. 3. Seidenbusch and Schulze. Loretto Prince of Spades to Doubledax.

JD. (7). 1. Hallett’s, Loretto March in Time. Well balanced puppy. Liked his outline when stacked. Good shoulders neat front, level topline. Angled nicely behind. Sound all through. Moving true fore and aft. BPD. 2. Russell’s, Kevocklea Twelfth Knight. Attractive youngster of good type. Balanced outline, moving true. 3. Wood’s, Wildstar Wedgewood.

PGD. (1). 1. Hadden’s, Wellbury John Deere. Masculine head dark eye, firm topline and hindquarters. Moved out fairly well. Enjoying his day out. Well handled and presented.

LD. (3). 1. Thorn-Andrew’s, Drakesleat Russell Sprout. Attractive head and expression, good neck and shoulders. Pronounced strenum, neat front ribs carried well back. Well bent stifles, level topline. Liked his overall outline. Harsh coat a quality dog. RCC. 2. Hallett’s, Loretto Not To Knight. Nice young male with good length of neck and back. Good depth of ribbing. Sound fore and aft, moved well. Preferred coat of first.

OD. (6). 1. Wilberg and Lampero. Ch. Freckle-Face Kind of Blue. Loved the free movement of this dog. Well constructed forehand with tight elbows and neat front. Excellent ribbing, level topline. Strong quarters in hard condition. Moving true fore and aft and with terrific drive. DCC. 2. Brechin and Herbert’s, Rosara Ringmaster at Bothlyn. Nicely balanced with good length. Looks lovely stacked. Could not match movement of first, but overall a sound moving dog. In good coat and condition. 3. Horswell’s, Drakesleat Surely You Jest.

PB. (9). 1. Blackburn’s, Stargant Xquisite. Really sweet puppy. Lovely disposition. Well balanced outline. Feminine head, dark eye good shoulder placement. Neat front, good depth of ribbing. Rounded quarters. A very promising baby. BP and G4. 2. Morton’s, Cotherstone Miniver. Another promising baby. Not quite as low to the ground as first. Lovely head, good length of neck and back. OB. (9). 1. Blackburn’s, Stargang Laurelee Land of Song. Liked the type and overall balance of this girl. Such a sweet head, soft dark eyes giving a gentle expression. Looked at me under beautifully furnished eyebrows. Lovely harsh coat. Low neck fitting into well laid shoulders. Tight elbows. Good ribs, well bent stifles. Moved true fore and aft. She appealed for her femininity and soundness. Full of quality. BCC and BOB. 2. Hallett’s, Loretto Make Hey. Another lovely girl that I really admired. Lovely outline, neat front.
