MPD. (5). 1. Price’s, Samlane Jenson. Smart puppy with masculine head and good front. A bit more neck would give him more elegance. Maintains a good outline on the move. Rear movement needs to settle but this should come with maturity. Very promising. 2. Dunstall’s, Metcroft Behind the Wise. Neat and tidy but topline and movement needs to settle. Preferred shoulders of first. 3. Rose’s, Rabymere Last Orders.

PD. (2). 1. Moate’s, Dianamo Magnum. Very smart with lovely strong head and good eye. Good shoulders and well ribbed both for spring and length. Moved very well both ways and with drive. 2. Smith’s, Dunnspitts Jake.

JD. (8). 1. Dance’s, Emem Nipper in the Air. Promising dog with good head and correct front. Well ribbed with very good angulation at both ends. Moved well and with drive both ways. Held his topline at all times. 2. Thorn-Andres’, Drakesleat Von Der Full. Good overall shape, head and front and correct coat. Taller in type than first. Movement a bit uncertain behind. Posibly because of the floor with its nyriad of lines. 3. Wilberg’s, Stargang Xcaliber at Kanix.

PGD. (5). 1. Spencer’s, Bannonbrig Wee Dram. Masculine head and correct outline with good length of ribbing. Very unsure on the move. 2. Russel’s, Kevocklea Twelfth Knight.

LD. (7). 1. Angear’s, Ridegrove Cut ‘n’ Deal. Lovely classic outline. Held at all times. Good head and eye. Smashing front and shoulders with good length and spring of ribbing. All covered by a correct length and spring of ribbing. All covered by a correct coat. The best rear angulation of the day. Moving well both ways and with super drive. Showed as if he was thoroughly enjoying it. Pleased to give him the CC and BOB. 2. Wood’s, Wildstar Wedgewood. Again a lovely shape with good strong head and correctly laid shoulders. Moved well fore and aft and with drive. Was rather unsure either about me or the table. 3. Spencer’s, Bannonbrig Wee Dram.

OD. (8). 1. Horswell’s, Drakesleat Surely You Jest. Lovely head and front with correctly angulated shoulders and excellent spring and length of ribbing. Moved well both ways and with drive. Maintaining a good outline. RCC. 2. Thorn-Andrew’s, Drakesleat Spaghetti Junction. Similar remarks to first, but not quite as good at the rear and this showed in movement. 3. Newbury’s, Dalegarth Likely Lad.

MPB. (7). 1. Marston’s, Lordscairnie Spirit of Love. Very nice outline at all times. Good head and eye. Correct angulation at both ends and moved truly with drive. Harsh coat coming on. 2. Morton’s, Cotherstone Past ‘n’ Present. Feminine head on good neck. Correct in shoulder and good length of ribbing. A bit unsettled on the move but a nice overall shape and should do better when she realises what it’s all about. 3. Marshall’s, Redgap Anna Nothething.

PB. (10). 1. Sexton and Coczza’s, Freecloud Mum’s the Word. Very promising mature puppy with lovely head and expression. Good front and shoulders. Nice length and spring of ribbing. Correct rear angulation used to effect on the move. Moving well both ways and keeping her outline. Was pleased to give her BP and went on to RBPIS. 2. Punter’s, Welcumen Black Bonnet. Another promising puppy. Not quite as mature as first. Good front construction and outline but rather erratic behind as yet. Should be alright when she settles. 3. Lewis’s, Trixhund Miss Lead.

JB. (13). 1. Wilberg’s, Kanix Audrey’s, Good head, eye and front. Correct shoulders with good length of keel and spring and length of ribbing. Nicely angulated behind. Moved with drive and showed well. RCC. 2. Lewis’s, Trixhund Miss Marple. Seemed a bit unsettled on the table but settled very nicely on the floor. Moved well and kept her outline. 3. Price’s, Samlane Imogen.

PGB. (8). 1. Marston’s, Lordscairnie Magic of Love. Very steady bitch who showed well. Feminine head with good front and shoulder placement. Nice harsh coat. Moved well and with drive. 2. Baldwin’s, Beckel Bright and Fair. Not the bone or substance of first but moved well both ways and maintained her outline. 3. Miller and Bailey’s, Choefait Chelsea Girl at Palsuz.

LB. (7). 1. Thorn-Andrew’s, Drakesleat Guilty Me Lud. Lovely head, shoulders and forechest. Good length and spring of ribbing. Moved quite well both ways and with drive. All apsects of movement in the challenge. Pleased to award her the CC. 2. Angear’s, Ridgegrove Gingham Doll. Similar reamarks apply but I felt she was just a shade lighter in bone that first and not quite as positive in front when moving. 3. Blackburn’s, Stargang Mystical Finnish.

OB. (14). 1. Thorn-Andrew’s, Drakesleat Black Marks. 2. Horswell’s, Drakesleat See Voo Play. Two very nice and similar bitches. The first had probably the best shoulder angulation of the day. Both had good heads, nice overall body shape and good ribbing. The second was not quite as well off for bone. 3. Hanney’s, Hilmar Abracadabra of Bronia.

VB. (2). 1. Price’s, Samlane Xanthe. 8 years old enjoying her day out. Feminine head and good shoulders. Better keel and ribbing than many of her younger competitiors. Moving quite well.
