DACHSHUNDS (MINIATURE LONG HAIRED): MPD (3) 1 Bell's Tolberg Super Ted. Handsome b/t with lovely markings; excellent bone and ribbing; good hind angulation and movement; beautifully handled but rather over-done in shoulder for me and keel now needs to lengthen. 2 Drady's Tolberg Paddy Guinness At Indiko. Litter brother to 1st; moved well both fore and aft; similar remarks apply to shoulders and keel; not quite the body of the winner. 3 Chambers' Rummerdax Sheree's Lad. PD (4) 1 Brook's Ralines Romeo At Lyndarlea. Showy and handsome boy with good forequarters, length, balance and carriage; presented an excellent outline standing and moving; better-laid shoulders than the 2nd. Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy In Breed. A star for the future. 2 Tolberg Super Ted. 3 Tolberg Paddy Guinness At Indiko. JD (4) 1 Shutt's Donnadoon Boo Gee Woogy. Masculine and striding out well; rather fidgetty when standing; better head and length of neck than the 2nd. 2 Pitfield's Follyfield Figaro. A well-balanced b/t, lower to ground than the 1st; not as correct in shoulder or as good in movement as the winner. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall Just Santana. YD (3,1) 1 Woodall's Half Century At Rarewood. A sound, masculine dapple dog with good forechest, layback of shoulder, length and spring of ribbing; well-muscled hindquarters and a pleasure to go over; keeping a correct outline at all times and hind movement one of the best today. 2 Follyfield Figaro. 3 Nagshall Just Santana. PGD (3) 1 Pitfield's Follyfield Firecracker. Cobbier type, well-ribbed b/t; quite good shoulder angulation and outline; not my favourite head; moving better behind than the 2nd. 2 Shutt's Donnydax Secret Dream Of Donnadoon. Smart and well-boned but rather apprehensive today; losing out to 1st on fore construction and hind movement. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall Walking In The Sun. LD (8) 1 Graham's Jadag Heir Apparent. Very masculine and well-balance dapple; best of bone, feet, spring & length of ribbing; good outline stacked and moving - although appeared rather lethargic today - which kept him from top honours. 2 Bedford's Dinkidudlor Jankay Tooray. Smart shaded red with super head and carriage; good feet and well-laid shoulders; losing out on length of ribbing and being longer in loin than the 1st. 3 Walters' Ralines Just Ozzie. OD (8) 1 Bedford's Garbosa Simply Splendid Of Dinkidudlor. Smart and balanced ch/t of lovely quality; the more I watched - the more I admired; smart head set on sufficient neck and well angulated shoulders; kept a super outllne both standing and moving; movement true both ways and didn't put a foot wrong to win the Dog C.C. 2 Brown's Garbosa Garfield. Another smart boy; shaded red with excellent bone and feet; pressing the winner hard but losing out on shorter ribbing and being longer in loin. 3 Holmes' Champion Tammera Touch Of Class. MPB (4,1) 1 Lockett-Walters' & Walters' Ralines Popping Kandi. Most feminine of creams with lovely head,bone and balance all through; good shoulder placement and moving well both ways; just needs maturity and will watch her future with interest. 2 Rowell's Tolberg Tia Drop At Emmajesk. Well-marked puppy, litter sister to M.Puppy Dog winner and again excellently handled; good spring and length of ribbing but not as good in head type or shoulder construction as the 1st. 3 Bell's Tolberg Spelltacular. PB (9) 1 Welton's Eldmour Heaven Sent To Chelane. Feminine and smart shaded red; lovely head set on elegant neck with the best of forequarters and shoulders; good spring and length of ribbing; well balanced all through; another of quality from this kennel. 2 Ralines Popping Kandi. 3 Brook's Lyndarlea Pageant. JB (7) 1 Poole's Findowrie Darcia Rose. Feminine, well-balanced red with lovely head, shoulder placement, bone and ribbing; moved truly and with purpose; a picture stacked and on the move. 2 Chappell's Gleneddee Miz Cool Chick. Pretty cream girl who should do well with maturity; good lay-back of shoulder with correct spring and length of ribbing, keeping a good outline on the move. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall Love Changes This. YB (5) 1 Muggleton's Doujac Blossom For Mosiarto. Eye-catching cream with super presence and balance; prettiest of heads held on reachy neck; good spring and length of ribbing; moving true and positively both ways; a real dachshund in miniature and could not be denied the Bitch C.C. 2 McCarthy's Nagshall The Power Of Love. Larger type red girl with feminine head; very good forequarters and correct movement; sympathetically handled and just losing out to the 1st on length of loin. 3 Poole's Findowries Fascination. PGB (9,2) 1 Weltons Chelane Chrissell. First of two lovely bitches and a very close decision here; smaller, clear red with the best of shoulders and correct spring and length of ribbing; a picture when stacked but losing her topline a little on the move today. Which cost her in the challenge. 2 Beal's Kizbeal Bossy Boots. Substantial shaded cream with lovely head; excellent bone and ribbing; just losing out the 1st on fore movement. 3 Neertanauf Lucia Rijker. LB (8,2) 1 Bell's Tolberg Holly's New Edition ShCM. The first of two similar type b/t's; correct forequarters and keeping a lovely outline at all times; well-balanced all through with true movement fore and aft. 2 Lockett-Walters' & Walters' Ralines Diamond Cluster. Lovely, feminine b/t, longer than the 1st and very close up; rather a fidget standing and losing out on hind movement today. 3 Barnsdale's & Hayward-Barnsdale's Chriskims Dream Catcher. OB (12) A close dccision between the first two lovely b/t's. 1 Geeson's Abydachs Absolutely. So elegant with the best of heads, lovely forequarters and length of ribbing; full of quality all through; just lost a little balance on the move in the challenge; but pleased to award her the Reserve Bitch C.C. 2 Bell's Tolberg Holly's Little Tilly ShCM. More subtantial girl with super head and neck; standing 4-square and with positive movement; stronger behind but not as good in front as the winner. 3 Holmes' Tammera Just Elegant. DOG C.C.
