DACHSHUND - MINIATURE LONG HAIRED

I enjoyed my day  with this delightful breed. Round light eyes were present in a few exhibits;  some were 'down' on their pasterns with splayed feet and some had dirty teeth.  My winners were most pleasing.

MPD(3) 1 Barnsdale &  Hayward-Barnsdale's Chriskims Dreamcaster. Well boned puppy with strong  masculine head, dark almond shaped eye, correct mouth, well placed shoulders  into a muscled body, correct topline standing and moving, well arched feet.  Moved with drive. 2 Roper's Idirsholas Jazz's Gift. Very close to winner with a  good head and bone but slightly longer cast. Moved out strongly once he  settled, keeping a good outline on the move. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall Walking In  The Sun.

PD(5) A very good class. 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Rustic. BPD, well  balanced boy in hard condition, as were all from this kennel. Good head, well  arched neck into sloping shoulders. Strong body, well angulated rear, used to  advantage on the move. Tight feet, good tailset. 2 Graham's Heir Apparent.  Again close to winner. Well proportioned head with dark eye, elegant neck into  correct shoulder placement, good ribbing with a short loin. Well boned. Moved  out well. 3 King's Doujac Rufus By Kingsdax.

JD(4) 1 Brown's Garbosa  Garfield. Res CC. Such a gentle eye in a correct head, good mouth, strong neck  into well placed shoulders, good ribbing, loin and rear angulation. Good ground  clearance which allowed excellent movement. He strode out so well with correct  tail carriage. Well muscled, very fit for function. 2 Broad's Neetanauf Sea Majic.  Strong head, well placed shoulders, good ribbing, strong loin and bone. Moved  true away, back and in profile. Tight feet. 3 Young's Willowheath Floyd.

PGD(6)  1 Broad's Neetanauf Sea Majic. Second in the strong junior class. This gave him  his JW, well done. 2 Cawley & King's Summerview Make Way For Roo. Compact  type of good proportions. Well balanced head and shoulders, firm body, good  rear angulation which showed in his movement. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall Oklahoma  Sunrise JW.

LD(6) 1 Holme's Tammera Touch Of Class. Beautiful head and  expression with dark eye, strong teeth, good front, tight feet, good ribbing  and short strong loin. Ground clearance allowed excellent movement. Very  elegant and masculine. 2 Fsadni's Rugosa Saint Barnabas. Good head, dark eye and ear set. Well placed  shoulders, strong body, good tailset and angulation. Strong tight feet. Moved  well and true. 3 Bedford's Garbosa Simply Splendid Of Dinkidudlor.

OD(5)  Strong class. 1 Barrow's Zarcrest Dancing On Ice At Frankanwen. CC & BOB.  Good head with dark eye, strong teeth. Beautiful clean neck into correctly  placed shoulders, good forechest, ribbing and strong loin. Good tailset, tight  feet. Well muscled body and rear. Really showed his excellent movement. In  superb condition. 2 Brooks' Lyndarlea Raferty JW. Shown in immaculate hard  condition and pressed the winner. Good head and eye, with a mischievous  twinkle. Strong neck and shoulders, good ribbing and tailset. Moved true in all  directions. 3 Roberts' Ravenways Tornero At Dandydayo.

MPB(2) 1 Young's  Nagshall Ivory Addition With Willowheath. Extrovert baby of good proportions.  Good head and neck, ribbing and loin correct, strong rear angulation used to  the full on the move. Beautiful tight feet. Nothing phased her. 2 McCarthy's  Nagshall The Power Of Love. Litter sister to above; she is fractionally longer  cast. Good head, eye and expression. Well muscled body and rear. Good bone and  tight feet.

PB(6, 1) Both puppy classes were good. 1 Worswick's Dolyharp  Marcellina, BPIB, BPB. Balanced head with the darkest of eyes; elegant neck  into good front and shoulders, ribbing and loin correct, good rear angulation  and tailset. Strong bone, tight feet. Good outline whilst standing and on the  move. Lovely outgoing temperament. 2 McCarthy's Nagshall The Power Of Love.  Second in MPB. 3 Brace's Xemxija 'N Aubrey's Chamade.

JB(11, 2) 1  Bedford's Garbosa Chocolate Cookie of Dinkidudlor- balanced head with gentle  eye. Well placed shoulders. Good ribbing. In profuse coat but tolerated the  examination. Excelled in movement using her well angulated rear. 2 Norris'  Criscan Khesia. Well covered girl with good bone. Good front, ribbing and  strong loin. Rounded apple rear showed her movement to advantage. Well  presented. 3 Cawley &King's Little Miss Honeybun For Summerview.

PGB(7)  1 Holme's Tammera Just Elegant. Litter sister to LD winner; feminine head with  good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, good ribbing and strong loin.  Strong rear quarters gave true movement. Shown in hard condition. 2 Murphy's  Classidax Follow The Dream. Slightly more of her all over. Well placed  shoulders and rear angulation. Super muscle and tight feet. Good tailset. 3  Brown's Devoncream Maid Of Diamonds.

LB(8) Limit bitch and Open bitch  difficult classes with so many to like. 1 Brown's Dinkidudlor Tatsuta At  Garbosa. Coat had been nibbled behind the withers. Beautiful balanced head with  good eye and expression into sound shoulders. Strong muscled body, good bone  and tight feet. Good rear angulation, moved so well and true. 2 Edwards' Barok  New Beginning. Being a little fidgety but when settled gave a good outline kept  on the move. Feminine head into well placed shoulders, strong ribbing and rear  angulation. Moved well once settled. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall My Fair Lady.

OB(4)  Strong class. 1 Brown's Ch Garbosa Chocolate Vogue. BCC; RBOB. Beautiful head  and expression, elegant neck, well laid shoulders, good keel. Ribbing and loin  strong. Well angulated rear with good tailset. Moved out with animation; good  clearance. 2 Boyle's Ch Zarcrest Ice On Fire. Res CC, a little fidgety today  but once settled moved so well. Beautiful dark eye and feminine head. Well  placed shoulders, good ribbing and tail set. Well boned. Shown in beautiful  condition. Close decision, both are super girls. 3 Brace's Xemxija Star Light.

VB(3)  A lovely class of great ladies and a credit to their owners. All had clean  teeth and were shown in excellent condition. Little to separate all three. 1  Sainsbury's Boscollar The Lady Isabella. Eleven and a half years old; feminine  head with lovely dark eye, well laid shoulders, good ribbing and moved like a  youngster. Tight feet and well-muscled. 2 Richardson's Sirrondach Ebony  Macadamia. Very pretty girl who was a little fidgety. Balanced head with good  reach of neck, good shoulder, ribbing and tail set. 3 Burge &Rossiter's  Rafthouse Rainbow`s End of Creekpit ShCM.
