MINIATURE LONG HAIRED

The hall was very noisy and I tried to take this into account when judging the dogs, some of which were rather nervous on the table and some scuttled on the move. I was however very pleased with my winners.

MPD (5,1) 1 Holden’s Sengepabu Dark Thunder. Black/tan baby of good construction with sufficient keel and very well ribbed. Quite tight feet, pleasing head and eye, good topline Moved quite well in the noisy echoing hall. 2 Mccarthy’s Nagshall Oklahoma Sunrise. Very sweet baby, I liked this clear red very much, well made with good keel and a lovely head. Not desperately happy on the move. 3.Harris Dolyharp Sherzo

PD(4,2) 1 Renton & Brown’s Garbosa Catcha Moonbeam.. Two very nice but different type red dogs. My 1st is beautifully constructed throughout with the loveliest of heads and good tight feet.. Lovely and houndy in shape and moved freely as one would expect due to good shoulders and strong hindquarters. Well ribbed and good topline. Must have a bright future. Res CC. 2 Mitchell’s Bronia Superstler. Fantastic profuse coat on this youngster.Gave the impression of being a bit short in neck which he is not. Very well made and moved well, though not as strong in topline as 1 and I was not as keen on his head as my winner a little round in skull.

JD
(4) 1 Brooks’ Lynarlea Bubbles, chocolate dapple of very good construction. Good head and eye. Good feet and very well ribbed. Tight good feet and held his shape on the move. Free mover won this class with some to spare. 2. Holden Sengapabu Sweet Valentine. Red dog well made with a pleasing head. Enough neck and good keel and feet. Could be tighter in elbow and was a bit anxious onthe move. 3. Palin’s Clary Concerto to Sanmik.

PGD
(6,2)1 Cooper’s Jealroie Sir Percivale at Jumanda. Not a strong class, but my winner here was of good type and well made with a lovely head. Moved quite well, ribbing could go further back. 2. McCarthy’s Nagshall All Guns Blazing. Black/tan with a nice head. Sufficient keel and tight feet. Short in neck and upper arm, did not drive on the move. 3 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Atlantica JW

LD  (8)1 Hallett’s Cagebrook Jimmy Choo at Loretto. Shaded red of lovely type with a good head. Presented in very good coat. Lovely tight front and good keel and feet. Ribs go well back which was sadly lacking in some other exhibits Moved well with drive and good topline. 2 Young’s Willowheat Hendrix.A heavier mould but pleasing head and eye. Well made front and tight feet. Good topline. Not the reach of neck of my winner. 3 Lockett-Walters’ Metadale Dick Turpin.

OD
(8,1)1 Wood’s Ch Wildstar Wrenowned JW Black and tan of superb type and construction expected from this kennel. In excellent coat.  Loveliest of heads and good strong jaw. Good reach of neck and shoulders. Strong ribcage. Tight feet, excellent hindquarters and retained his lovely shape as he moved with plenty of drive. Never put a foot wrong. CC BOB. 2 Brooks’ Layways Piper for Lyndarlea JW, cream dog of good type with tight front and feet. Sufficient keel and ribbing. Good shoulders and topline, could be stronger in hindquarters. 3 King’s Kingsdax Regal Knight.

MPB
(11,1)1. Angear’s Ridgegrove Ruby Wax. Red bitch of superb shape. Very good head, strong in neck and tight front. Plenty of keel for a youngster and tight feet. Well ribbed in excellent condition Moved with drive,  must have a bright future. 2 Wood’s Wildstar Wreflection. Another very promising bitch. Black /tan with the most beautiful head. Well made throughout with sufficent keel and ribbing. Good front and topline. Very full of herself but moved well when settled, unlucky to meet the winner here. 3 King’s Kingsdax Adorabelle.

PB
(7) 1 Wildstar Wreflection.  2. Brooks’ Lyndarlea Treasure. Another sweet black/tan with a pretty head. Well made front and keel is sufficient. Not quite the neck of my winner. Topline and ribbing good, Needs to strengthen behind. 3. Lockett-Walters Ralines Summer Storm.

LB
(8) Nice class. 1 Rees’ Rafthouse Classic Cliche at Amical. Well made shaded red with sweet head and good shoulders and tight feet, plenty of neck and ribbing goes well back. Excellent topline, moved with tremendous drive, lovely type. Res CC. 2. Geeson’s Abydachs Angelica. Black /tan also of good type with super front and feet. Strong in ribbing and hindquarters. Well ribbed and like the winner good keel, but not quite as tight in front. Moved well. 3. Young’s Willowheat Marillion.

PGB
(4,1) 1 Bell’s Tolberg Holly’s Little Tilly. Well made black/tan tight in front and feet and well ribbed. With good keel. Retained her topline and moved out well. Strongest in hindquarters in this class. 2. Johnson’s Charpurdy Just Iss. Black/tan with nice head. Sufficient keel, shoulders well laid, not the neck and topline of my winner. 3.McCarthy’s Nagshall Daisy Duke.

LB(17,4)A very strong class. My five placed were all extremely good bitches. A very close decision between the first three, these three bitches could change places on another day. 1. Graham’s Hillstar Lexzina of Jadag. Nice bitch of good construction. Tight in front with good keel and neck.. Tight feet and well ribbed. Good topline retained on the move moved with drive. 2 Young’s Willowheath Frosting Angel. Lovely silver dapple with a lovely head and eye. Good shoulders and keel. Tight feet. Moved round extremely well retaining her lovely shape. Not quite as positive in hind movement as my winner. 3. Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Surprise.

OB (9,2) 1. Turner’s Rafthouse Lucy Lastic.  2 year old black and tan with a lovely houndy head. Good eye. Flowing neck into good shoulders and tight feet. Good outline on the move, used herself well driving round the ring. Shown in excellent coat. CC. 2. Lockett-Walters Ralilnes Aubra Jean. Another lovely type bitch. With good construction and ribbing. Tight feet.Super coated. Moved well, not quite as precise in front as my winner, but a lovely bitch who challenged hard for the reserve CC. 3. Jamieson Djeata Cosmopolitan.
