MINIATURE LONG HAIRED

My thanks to the Committee for the invitation to judge. Being 2nd in the ring makes one feel a bit pushed for time but due to my excellent steward Michael? We finished in good time. I enjoyed my day and thank all the exhibitors for the sporting way they took my decisions.

MPD (6,2) 1 Holmes’ Tammera Touch Of Class, Lovely head and expression, good reach of neck and good ribbing, good coat, moved well. 2 Norton’s Halunke Dragons Kiss, Good head and expression, good ribbing, slightly shorter than 1, moved well 2 very promising puppies. 3 Havard’s Summerview Silver Knight At Dravahland.

PD (8,2) 1 Brook’s Lyndarlea Raferty, shaded cream, lovely topline, good head and expression, good front and reach of neck, moved well with drive. I loved him. Best Puppy. 2 Cawley & King’s Summerview Make Way For Roo. Another lovely puppy, same remarks apply as 1. Just preferred the size of 1. 3 Shutt’s Hillstar Brandy Snap of Donnadoon.

JD (6) 1 McCarthy’s Nagshall Oklahoma Sunrise. Red. Good head and reach do neck, good shoulders and tight elbows. Moved well with drive. 2 Friend’s Willowheath Festival Guy, b/t, typical dachshund expression, bit apprehensive on the table but made up for that on the move. 3 Burr’s Dapple Rugged Rascal At Burrdach.

PGD (3) 1 Cooper’s Jealroie Sir Percival At Jumanda, good wedge head with lovely eye and expression, good tight shoulders and good ribbing. Moved well. 2 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Bubbles, chocolate dapple with good head and expression, good front tight feet, good topline, just preferred hind movement of 1. 3 Holden’s Sengepabu Saint Valentine.

LD (8,3) 1 Fsadni’s Rugosa Saint Barnabas, Shaded cream, well up to size, lovely head and eye, good reach of neck and tight shoulders, good front which enabled him to really reach out when moving with good hind driving action. CC. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall All Guns Blazing, b/t good head and eye, good reach of neck, level topline, moved well, preferred size and drive of 1. 3 Poole’s Findowie City Slicker.

OD (7,2) 1 Poole’s Findowie Skye Lord, red, compact little dog with good front  head and eye, good angulation, carried topline well on the move, one of the few shown on a loose lead which showed off his good movement, pushed hard when considering the tickets, RCC. 2 Jamieson’s Silver A Do By Djeata, well marked silver dapple, longer cast than 1, good head and reach of neck, good feet, moved well. 3 Cawley & King’s Creekpit Black Opal At Summerview JW.

MPB (10,2) 1 Worswick’s Dolyharp Patience, Pretty red baby with sweet expression, lovely ribbing and feet, moved well. 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Susie. Another lovely baby with time on her side. Well placed shoulders and good ribcage, moved well. 3 Norton’s Halunke Sheer Magic.

PB (5,1) 1 Cooper’s Jumanda’s Silver Moonlight. Well constructed silver dapple of good size. Good angulation. Held topline on move, well presented. 2 Poole’s Findowries CrE8me Caramelle, well presented cream baby, beautiful feminine head and expression, good body, needs to tighten up in movement, time is on her side. 3 Kennedy’s Denkena’s Blue Berry.

JB (8,1) 1 Clewes’ Torwood  Declaration At Shardbeck, this little bitch took my eye when she entered the ring. Everything was in the right place with great angulation, won this class on movement. 2 Brown’s Devoncream Golden Flair, Another well presented little bitch very similar in type to 1 but lacked the hind angulation and drive. 3 Stephani’s Torwood Guns N’roses At Walnutfarm.

PGB (6,2) 1 McCarthy’s Nagshall Puppet On A String, attractive shaded red, lovely head and expression, good oval front, good ribbing and angulation. Held topline well on the move. 2 Gonszor’s Medlicott Silver Dance Away, silver dapple, good oval front, good shoulders and ribbing, well covered. Not so positive in movement as 1. 3 Bell’s Tolberg Holly’s Little Tilly.

LB (7,2) 1 Cooper’s Jumandas Gypsy Silver, Super head and eye, oval front, good spring of rib, good hind angulation, moved well. 2 Earley’s Rafthouse The Diva Of Yelva, Chocolate dapple, good bone and topline, smart mover, preferred head and eye of 1. 3 Rees’ Rafthouse Classic ClichE9 At Amical.

OB (9,2) 1 Geeson’s Ch. Abydachs Absolution JW, B/t in lovely condition, caught my eye when she entered the ring, full of quality and lovely to go over, tightest of shoulders, good ribbing, well angulated which showed in her driving movement, CC and BOB. 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Surprise, another beautiful bitch with a well balanced outline, again well presented and handled, I was splitting hairs between them and would have taken both of them home, just thought 1 had a little more drive behind, RCC. 3 Johnson’s Charpurdy Just Iss.
