MPD (3,1a) 1 Worswick’s Dolyharp April Evening. 7 month old red, super head and eye. Good reach of neck. Looked a picture standing. Super bone and moved with good hind extension. Very much a baby. Just needs to strengthen in topline but that should come with age. Best puppy dog. 2 Oxley’s Dinkidax Tidal Wave. Another puppy that needs time. Moved well and kept a good topline. Just preferred head, neck and hind drive of 1st.

PD (7,3a) 1 Phillips’ Rossdach Your Song. Brindle. Not cooperating with handler but scored here on the move. Lovely dark almond shaped eye. Tight shoulders and good spring of rib. Kept a good topline and very true front movement. 2 Jamieson’s Silver A Do By Djeata. Lovely silver dapple but far to thin, needs at least another 1lb of weight to do this dog justice. Super head and eye, neck and forechest. Good length of body. Good hind angulation. What a pity he didn’t have the extra weight on. 3 Oxley’s Wildhatch Cropston Boy Of Dinkidax.

JD (7,1a) 1 Norton’s Halunke Just Jervis. Superb red dog. Pushed his father hard for the CC, but I am sure his time will come. Correct head & eye. Lovely length of neck. Super forechest. Well rounded hindquarters which he used on the move. Lovely elegant lines at all times. Res. CC. 2 Welton’s Chelane Casper Carrot. Very showy dog, different type to first. Dripping in coat. Lovely forechest. Super spring of rib. Good hindquarters. Moved positively at all time but preferred neck and length of upper arm of winner. 3 Bell’s Freddie Ferrari.

PGD (8) 1 Rees’ Yumares Nicholas. Lovely cream dog. Super head & expression. Good length and spring of rib. Nice bend of stifle. Looked better moving than standing. Moved with super topline and good striding, driving movement. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Polar Seal. Another nice cream. Also looked better on the move. Correct pigmentation. Adequate length of neck. Good spring of rib. Well rounded hindquarters. 3 Croxford’s Arbroath Lord Of The Glen.

LD (9,2a) A very difficult class. I liked every one of my placed dogs. 1 Angear’s Ridgegrove Alfie Moon. Compact black and tan. Adequate head. Fantastic front assembly which is lacking in many miniature longs, this is what won him the class. Super spring and length of rib with lengthy keel. Well let down hindquarters. Moved well and kept a good topline at all times. 2 Poole’s Findowrie Man About Town. Stunning looking dog. Moved smartly. Nice head. Good length of ribbing and super quarters which he used powerfully on the move. Excellent topline at all times. 3 Geeson’s Abydachs Anarchy. Another super, red dog. Classic lines and a gorgeous head.

OD (11,2a) Another class of super dogs. 1 Lockett & Lockett-Walters’ Ch. Ralines Royal Statesman. Super black and tan dog. One of my favourites and I wasn’t disappointed in him today, I also awarded his mother, who I loved, a CC in the past. Classic head and lovely eye, reachy neck and good spring of rib. Prominent forechest. The best of hindquarters. True fore and aft. Super showman. Powerful mover keeping his topline at all times. CC. Very hard decision for BOB, loved them both. 2 Roberts’ Ch. Denver Jack Frost. Cream dog I have always liked but not settled in the noisy hall today. Lovely head and expression. Good forechest and length of neck. Nice length of body. Super bend of stifle. Always looks good on the move keeping his topline at all times. 3 Buchan & Colley’s Ebony Night Runner At Helenium. Another nice black and tan dog.

MPB (5,1a) 1 Angear’s Ridgegrove Holly Berry. Gorgeous black and tan baby puppy. Fell in love with this one. Pretty head with lovely kind expression. The best of front constructions. Good feet. Stood true fore and aft. Nice length of rib. Hammy quarters. Moved well for one so young keeping a lovely outline. Should have a very promising future. Res. CC & Best Puppy in Breed. 2 Worswizk’s Dolyharp Liberty Belle. Red litter sister to Best Puppy Dog. Different type to first. Lovely front construction and good feet. Nice length of neck. Adequate hindquarters. 3 Brace’s Merumist Black Eyed Susie With Xemxija.

PB (9,2a) 1 Charnley’s Northnook Over The Moon. Another promising puppy. Elegant red bitch. Super head and eye. Good front construction. Super forechest and length of neck. Lovely angulation fore and aft. Moved well with excellent topline at all times. 2 Turner’s Willowheath Silver Sequin From Rafthouse. Nice chunky silver dapple. With everything in the right place but her dense coat detracted on the move. Once that coat drops she should do well. 3 Oxley’s Top Of The Frecks.

JB (11,2a) 1 Norton’s Halunke Just Jessica. Litter sister to Res. CC Dog. Very smart black and tan. Reachy neck. Good front, nice shoulders and lovely feet. Good spring of rib. Excellent hindquarters which she used on the move. 2 Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Saphire. Really promising red puppy bitch. Pushed hard in this class. Lovely head and kind expression. Excellent forechest. Nice shoulders. Reachy neck,. Good pigmentation. Lovely quarters. Rea;y nice mover for one so young. Pity she had no coat. 3 Roberts’ Denver Love Me Tender. Another lovely one but very unsettled.

PGB (11,3a) 1 Mee’s Barlaines Amber Star. Pretty clear red bitch. Won on her fantastic construction. Sweet head and expression, would prefer a bit better pigmentation. Tight, well placed shoulders, good front, lovely hindquarters. Sound mover. Good topline. Stood and moved true for and aft. 2 Holmes’ Tammera Youch Of Elegance. Different type to first but very elegant. Lovely head and reach of neck. Good forechest. Lovely rounded hindquarters which she used well on the move. 3 McNaughton’s Bronia Miss Rabanne.

LB (11,3a) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Attitude. A striking black and cream bitch. Full of elegance and attitude. Lovely head and eye, reach of neck, correct well placed shoulders, nice forechest. Good spring of rib. Excellent hind angulation. Looks a picture standing and moving. 2 Bainbridge’s Lynbain Lady Liza. Pretty black and tan bitch that doesn’t make the most of herself. Pretty head, reachy neck, good front. Well angulated fore and aft. Moves well and keeps a good topline at all times. Age 6. 3 Angear’s Ridgegrove Dancing Shadow.

OB (12,3a) A high quality class of bitches. 1 Mack & Dunn – Ch. Topgem Louisa May. A real top draw black and tan bitch oozing quality. Lovely head and expression. Reachy neck, super forechest, good ribbing. Excellent hindquarters. Loved this one since she was a puppy. A dream to watch on the move. CC & BOB. 2 Goddard’s Ch. Minard Krystal Darque. Another bitch I have always liked. Everything in the right place. Handled and presented to perfection. Just hadn’t got her normal sparkle today. But still like her a lot. 3 Davis’ Corrinbar Blue Angel. A classy silver dapple.
