MINIATURE LONG HAIRED

As everyone else has said, the bitches are far better than the dogs. I could easily have given out many more tickets, if available. Temperaments were, on the whole, very good and my dog ticket winner would have licked me to death. On the downside, I was surprised at the number of dogs with dirty teeth. I know Min. Long teeth are not the easiest to keep white and bright, but please do not take your dogs to a major Championship Show in this condition.

MPD (5, 3 ab). 1-Oxley’s Wild Hatch Cropston Boy of Dinkidax. Brindle, nice youngster with good head, well placed shoulders. Moved soundly. Needs a little more body. 2-Rees’ Yumares Oliver Mac. Red, good head and eye, good shoulders and topline. Well ribbed body, moved close in front.

PD (3). 1-Welton’s Chelane Casper Carrot. Good head and neck on well placed shoulders. Good ribbing, top and underlines. Sound coming and going. Could be a little bolder. 2-Jamieson’s Silver A Do By Djeata. Dapple, excellent head and neck. Good angulation and really strides out. Very thin. 3-Bell’s Freddie Ferrari.

JD (8, 1 ab). 1-Colley & Buchan’s Stainsacre The Riddler. B/T, a very promising youngster. Long and low, gave a very good outline. Excellent body, well angulated hindquarters. Moved very soundly front and rear, will watch his progress. Sired by the C.C winner. 2-Norton’s Halunke Just Jervis. Nice type, very good body, good topline. Needs to tighten in front. Moved out well, using his hindquarters to give plenty of thrust. 3- Rees’ Yumares Nicholas.

SBD (4, 1 ab). 1-Hartley’s Tialamour Destiny Calls for Lyrosh. Red, very good head and eye. Well placed shoulders, good ribbing. Moved very well, excellent temperament. 2-Wood’s Helmfoot Hunky Rory. Red, nice to go over. In hard muscular condition, one of the very few to be so. Good body and short loin. Handler needs to move him better, another very good temperament. 3- Nottingham’s Findowrie Moonlight Shadow.

PGD (6). 1-Brooks’ Lyndarlea Earth Tremor. B/T, Long and low, gave a very good outline. Very good front and hindquarters, well ribbed body, moved out well. 2-Geeson’s Abydachs Anarchy. Red, very glamorous, catches your eye immediately. Not the shoulders of 1, moves out well but pins in coming towards you. 3-Hayes’ Dolyharp Duet With Dialhouse JW.

LD (14, 3 ab). 1-Angear’s Ridgegrove Alfie Moon. B/T, very well balanced. Excellent front and shoulders with correct width between forelegs. Well ribbed body, short loin. Good hindquarters, moved very soundly. I liked him a lot. 2-Garman’s Albaney Cornish Cream. Very nice type, good head and eye. Well ribbed body, but elbow could be tighter. Moved well but without enthusiasm. 3-Breese’s Silkdown On Parade JW.

OD (8, 1 ab). 1-Buchan & Colley’s Ebony Night Runner at Helenium. B/T, super outline, excellent head and neck on well placed shoulders. Correct width between forelegs, good forechest with excellent ribbing. Well angulated hindquarters, moved very soundly. CC. His second I am told. 2-Worswick’s Ch.Dolyharp Don Basilio JW. Cream, dark pigmentation, in super condition. Very good to go over and difficult to fault. Different type to 1, it was a difficult decision. Res.CC. 3-Robert’s Ch.Denver Jack Frost.

SVD/B (1). 1-Vaughan’s Tisanti Cream Toffee. Cream, stood alone, but very worthy of first place. Looking good for his 9 years. Good body proportions and in good coat, moved well.

MPB (10, 3 ab). 1-Blackshaw’s Ravenways Give Me Time. 6 months on the day, and what a little charmer. Well constructed with good forechest and shoulders. Well ribbed body and good hind angulation. Moved out well, very promising. 2-Bedford’s Dinkidudlor Shere Khan. Another well bodied pup. Good shoulders and front, good ribbing and short loin. Moved soundly coming and going. Good temperament. 3-Oxley’s Top of The Frecks at Dinkidax.

PB (8, 1 ab). 1-Lockett & Lockett-Walters’ Ralines Gold Medal. Red, good head, forechest and shoulders. Well ribbed body, good, well angulated hindquarters. Moved very well. Best Puppy. 2- Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Saphire. Very close to 1. Very promising. I liked her forechest and shoulders. Good in front with correct width between forelegs. Good feet. 3-Scott’s Wolferlow Moonlight Waltz.

JB (11, 2 ab). 1-Angear’s Ridgegrove Dancing Shadow. I loved this bitch, so beautifully balanced. Excellent front, tight shoulders, your hands just flowed over her. Moves very soundly. Very difficult to find any faults, she will go to the top. Res.CC. A tough decision but the winner just had that extra showmanship in the challenge. 2-Hanney’s Bronia Serenity. S/R, quality youngster. Good head and neck. Good front assembly but needs to tighten in shoulder. In excellent coat, moved out well. 3-Crawley’s Gillbax Oberonia at Doujac.

SBB (2). 1-Brooks’ Lyndarlea Shutt the Door. Cream, gave a good outline. Good front, well ribbed body. Moved soundly. 2-Hudson’s Sonrimar Princess Kaja. Nice youngster. Could do with a little more body, moved very well

PGB (13, 4). 1-Roberts’ Denver Suzi Wong. Super B/Cream, very good front, good legs and feet. Good body length, excellent ribbing, short loin. Well angulated hindquarters, she flowed round the ring. Just needs a few months more to mature and she cannot fail to get her title. 2-Holmes’ Tammera Touch of Elegance. Red, similar type to 1. Good head and neck. Good body proportions, moved soundly. 3-Scott’s Maydays Regal Lady.

LB (18, 3 ab). A very good class of excellent bitches. 1-Boyle’s Zarcrest Gold Legacy. Red, another outstanding bitch. Super outline, excellent front, the best of bodies. Very sound parallel movement. Another who must get her title. 2- Geeson’s Abydachs Attitude JW. Another difficult decision, so very close to 1. Same remarks apply, but she was not quite so strong in hindquarter. 3-Wallace’s Cheslan Makunu Rah.

OB (9, 1 ab). 1-Goddard’s Ch.Minard Krystal Darque. I think I gave this bitch BP at her first show, and she has certainly fulfilled all expectations. She is the ultimate showgirl. Her construction is superb and she never puts a foot wrong. CC. BOB. Very pleased to see her in the final six of the Group. 2-Roberts’ Ch.Denver’s Babycham. Very feminine, lovely head and expression. Super body proportions, so sound in movement. A truly worthy champion. 3-Thomas’ Shenaligh Sweet Dreams.
