My thanks to the committee of Midland Counties for giving me the opportunity to assess so many quality exhibits and to all the exhibitors for giving me a super entry. I was pleased with all my winners and in some classes wished that there were more cards to hand out. It was especially pleasing to see my BOB awarded Group 2. Unfortunately there were some exhibits with incorrect shoulder placement, short upper arms and a few level bites.

MPD (10) 1 Shutt’s Donnadoon Black Dream. B/t Excellent head and expression, correct front and hind angulation, good length of ribbing, moved out well keeping correct topline, well made throughout. 2. Brook’s Lyndarlea Earth Tremor, another lovely head and expression, good front, length of rib, not as good in hind movement as 1 3. Cooper’s Classidax Paddy By Jumanda

PD (9) Brook’s Lyndarlea Choc Ice. Choc. Beautifully made all through, good head and expression, good reach of neck, correct front and hind angulation with good length of rib. Moved true coming and going keeping level topline. BPD. 2 Angear’s Ridgegrove Alfie Moon B/t another quality puppy, excelled in head, well made throughout, moved well, not as mature as 1. 3. Boyle’s Zarcrest Black Ice

PGD (10) 1. Illidge’s Paradachs Murphy Moonshine. B/t Excellent head, good reach of neck, excelled in ribbing which was well laid back, correct hind angulation, moved well still needs to mature. 2 Harrison’s Lacerking Jimmy Mac. Good head and expression, nicely made throughout, moved out well but just preferred the front on 1. 3. Leyshon’s Jadag Silver Heir with Picklescott

LD (7) 1 Graver’s Melvalley Midnight Star. B/t Excellent type, good front and hind angulation, ribs well back, lovely tight feet, moved true coming and going keeping level topline. Quality exhibit. 2. Brace’s Ralines Sunny Delight with Xemxija. Sh/cr. Another quality dog, good head and expression, moved out well, just preferred front on 1. 3. Scott’s Ralines Foreign Exchange

OD (5) 1. Roberts Ch Denver Jack Frost. Cr. Worthy Champion, excellent head and expression, good pigment which can be difficult in a cream. Correct front and hind angulation with good length of rib, lovely tight feet. Excellent movement with plenty of drive. DCC. 2 Lockett’s Raline's Red Dragon. Unfortunate to meet 1, another quality dog of the deepest red, a colour we don’t often see, good head and expression, long low and level, soundly made throughout, moved well, a difficult decision between 1 and 2. RCC 3. Watkins Bidornis Pinball Wizard

MPB (9) 1 Mee’s Barlane’s Amber Star. Red. Very feminine head, good reach of neck, excellent front and hind angulation, well ribbed, moved well keeping level topline, a very promising youngster. 2. Grp 2 2 Wallace’s Cheslan Reethi Rah. B/t another quality bitch, lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, correct front and rear construction, nice length of rib, moved out well keeping level topline on the move, unfortunate to come up against 1, I am sure she will gain her title soon.
