P (4) 1 Humphries’ Rossglen Romonette at Avonlea. Dark shaded red bitch with bone and substance, very raw baby at present but is generally well constructed all through. Needs to tighten in front and settle in topline. Moved smartly showing her pads. Shown in super condition. Best Puppy. 2 Kennedy’s Denkena Tizzymay. Black and tan bitch, finer type than the winner. Feminine head and good reach of neck. Needs more width in front and to settle in quarters, movement a bit erratic on the day. Needs time. 3 Allan and Dick’s Auchans Thistle Dubh Braw.

SpY (4) 1 Kennedy’s Denkena Lady Bear. Black and tan bitch of fair proportions, moved out smartly but cuts up and loses her topline. Would like more width and heartroom. 2 Neely’s High Society. Shaded red dog, very smart in profile but lacks reach of neck and roaches badly on the move. Lacks hind extension.

OD (9) 1 Jamieson’s Airwaves to Carlang via Djeata. Black and tan dog opf lovely type. Houndy, conical head with tight, dark eye and correct length of leather. Prominent front with plenty of width, well laid shoulder with tight elbows. Good length and depth of ribbing, well angulated rear which he uses to drive well, keeping his topline at all times. A lovely example of the breed - teeth need attention though. Best of Breed. 2 Allan and Dick’s Berekyah Chervil to Auchans. Black and tan dog of nice type, good head proportions and tidy front assembly. Well off for ribbing and good hind angulation. Just lacked maturity and coat here. 3 Hamilton’s Ardlochan Sableson.

OB (11) 1 Humphries’ Avonlea Blissful Bower. Clear cream bitch of lovely type. Smart head with good reach of neck, well laid shoulder, tight elbows. Well rounded ribcage with plenty of heartroom. Really drives from the rear, just lacks confidence but well worth persevering with. Best Bitch. 2 Hamilton’s Ardlochan Brons Girl. Very smart black and tan bitch of lovely type and in good coat. Well constructed all through, but not the shoulder of the winner. 3 Kennedy’s Denkena Ben Lora..
