I was honoured to be given this opportunity to handle some of the best representatives of their respective breeds.

Thorn Andrews’s CH DRAKESLEAT SCENTS SYBIL the Min Wire Bitch TOOK B.I.S. The simplest way would be to quote the standard and say she completely filled my interpretation of it. Her exquisite feminine expression, powerful strong quarters and elegant carriage during strong driving movement made her impossible to overlook.

R.B.I.S. was the Black/Tan smooth Hunt’s CH. CWMDARHIAN HOGAN’S HERO AT CARPACCIO. An impressive, masculine hound who scored on condition, maturity and firmness in movement.

B.P. I gave to Locket Walters & Walters Cream Min Long. D. RALINES ONE OF THOSE. Well-handled. In excellent coat and condition. Although not a cream fan I could not get past his beautiful dark eyes, classical head and strong driving movement.

R.B.P.I.S. was the min. Wire. Thorn Andrews DRAKESLEAT IF LOOKS COULD KILL  Nothing I would like to change. I will certainly watch his career with interest. In the challenge he just didn’t have the sparkle of the winner.

Best Veteran the L.H. Hutton’s OWLERY MAJESTIC OF DACHALUNE 10 years old in excellent coat and condition. Just what I like. I cannot believe I have not judged him before. Well-constructed. Moved with ease and drive.
